# How to Create a Custom Gift Card+ Catalog
By default, Gift Card+ recipients can choose from the full catalog of gift card brands. A custom catalog narrows that list to only the brands you select, which is useful for themed events, budget-conscious programs, or recipients in a specific region. This guide walks through building a custom catalog and applying it to an order.
### Find the Custom Catalog section
1. Log in to the Corporate Traditions portal. You will land on the **Dashboard**.
2. Click the **Organization** tab at the top.
3. Scroll past your logo, the **Users** section, and **Gift Templates** to the **Custom Catalog** section at the bottom of the page.
### Create a new catalog
1. Click **New**, then **New Gift Card+ Catalog**.
2. Enter a **name** for the catalog, such as “Gift Card+ Catalog for September Event.”
3. Choose the **country**. This sets the currency and determines which gift card brands are available.
4. Click **Submit**.
### Select your gift card brands
The next screen lists every gift card option available for the country you chose.
1. Use the **search** field at the top to find specific brands.
2. Select each brand you want to include. You can pick as few or as many as you like, for example only Home Depot, Apple, and Nike.
3. Click **Save Catalog**.
When you view the catalog afterward, only your selected brands appear. You can edit the catalog at any time. Keep in mind that recipients of any gift using this catalog will only be able to choose from these brands, so make sure the selection fits the audience.
### Use the catalog on an order
1. From the **Orders** tab, create a new order for the **Gift Card+** program.
2. When adding recipients, open the **More options** toggle at the bottom of the form.
3. In the **Catalog** dropdown, select your custom catalog.
4. Add the recipient as usual.
If you are adding recipients by spreadsheet upload, the template includes a **Catalog** column where you can enter the catalog for each recipient instead.
### Tips for custom catalogs
- Name catalogs by purpose and date, such as “Wellness Rewards 2026,” so they are easy to pick out of the dropdown once you have several.
- Keep at least a handful of brands in each catalog. Choice is the main appeal of Gift Card+, and a catalog with one or two options can feel like a prescribed gift.
- Create separate catalogs for recipients in different countries, since the country setting controls currency and brand availability.
- You can mix catalogs within one order. Set the catalog per recipient if different groups should see different brands.
